May 1st, 2006 — VENICE, CA - Luma will take this one on, solo, as it increases its presence as a VFX contender in themarket. The high-stakes adventure follows a news producer, reporter and cameraman whoare dispatched to South Africa to track down and bring home ative a legendary 25-footcrocodite known as Gustave. However, their quarry proves far more elusive and deadlythan they anticipated, and their situation turns even more pentous when a feared warlordtargets them for death.

As the primary vendor for this CG intensive film, Luma will bring this legendary man-eaterto life on the big screen. This is no small challenge due to the fact that the majority of thecreatures screen time takes place on, in, under and around the water. Utilizing its wellrespected tatent for creating realistic CG creatures, Luma will also have to leverage its skillsto produce some of the most difficult creature and water interactions shots ever seen in thetheater without the benefit of practical footage. The total package includes: the maincreature (entirely CG), CG water interaction, CG Rain, several digital doubles, several digitalsets and matte paintings.
