Luma Pictures Wins VFX Package for "Wicker Park"
August 26th, 2003 — LOS ANGELES - Boutique visual effects company Luma Pictures has been selected by Lakeshore Entertainment to be the sole provider of visual effects services for Wicker Park, a romantic thriller set for release next year. The film is directed by Paul McGuigan and stars Josh Hartnett, Dianne Kruger and Rose Byrne. Luma Pictures' role will include compositing, design, effects animation, 3D set extentions and 3D matte paintings. Payam Shohadai will serve as visual effects supervisor for Luma Pictures. The company's recent projects include Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, Underworld and The Human Stain.
